Linda Whelihan
Linda works with a multitude of media, designing engaging art experiences for participants of all ages. She specializes in integrating the arts into the curriculum with hands-on projects like bookmaking, puppetry and large-scale mosaics and murals. She has designed community workshops around the theme of creative recycling and sustainability. Her art is whimsical, colorful and engaging. She believes that art has the power to change individuals, their communities and the world.
Linda has over 15 years of experience teaching art in classrooms and communities to a wide variety of students. She has been a frequent presenter of professional development workshops for teachers on the topic of arts integration. Linda has a Bachelor of Science in graphic design from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Art Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
